Edit device assignment on your child's device
To monitor the online activities of your child, you must associate a device with that child. You can change the device or user account assignment from the Norton website or from your child's device. When you reassign a device or a user account for a child, Norton Family starts monitoring the child based on the new assignment.
Norton website
-
Sign in to your account.
-
Select the child whose device assignment you want to change.
-
Click Add Device.
-
Select the Windows computer in which you want to change the assignment.
-
Choose the user account that you want to assign to the child.
If the child uses multiple accounts to log in to the Windows computer, choose all those accounts.
-
Click Save.
Your child's Windows computer
This is not applicable if your child's computer runs on Windows XP. However, you can edit device assignments at any time by signing in to your account from any Internet-enabled device. To get the best from Norton Family, we recommend that you upgrade your child's Windows operating system to a higher version.
-
Click the Norton Family icon in the notifications area and click Edit Accounts.
-
Type your parent email address and password and click Sign In.
-
Next to the child profile that you want to associate the computer with, click Edit.
-
Select signs in as and choose the account that the child uses to log on to this device. If your child uses multiple user accounts, choose the child on all those user accounts.
-
Click Save > OK.
Your child's Android device

Open Norton Family parental control app in Parent mode.
-
Tap the child to whom the device is currently assigned.

You can use the default name that given to the device or choose a new one. Norton Family uses this name to identity this device in the future.
