Review the alert that you received

If you received an alert, you can validate whether you initiated the activity. Depending on the response, we will review the situation and let you know what we find through phone or email. You can validate an alert on the alert message that you received or by signing into your account.

Review an alert

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. Click the Alerts tab.

  3. On the alert that you want to validate, do one of the following:

    • Click Yes if you have initiated the activity.
      You will receive an email confirmation, and the alert will be moved to the Archived tab.

    • Click No if you did not initiate the activity.
      We will investigate this situation, and the alert will be moved to the Disputed tab.

Types of Alerts

All alerts are US only except Financial Monitoring Alert and Equifax/TransUnion Canada (including TELUS).

  • Early Warning Services - Updates to Existing bank accounts. (Phone Number, Email, Address) and new bank accounts. (Checking/Savings Accounts) Please read: Learn more about the existing bank account update alert

  • Equifax/TransUnion/Experian - Changes or Updates to the member's credit report. (Credit inquiries, USPS Address Change, Name Change, Bankruptcy, Collections, Suits/Judgements, Tax Liens) Please read: Request a fraud alert

  • Equifax/TransUnion Tradeline Alert – New account on the credit report. (Credit Cards, Loans, Cell Phones, Utility Companies) Please read: Request a fraud alert

  • Financial Activity Alerts – Threshold, recurring charge, unusual charge, and Buy Now Pay Later. (BNPL) Please read: Buy Now Pay Later Alert 

  • Financial Monitoring Alert - A Financial Monitoring alert is when we receive a transaction over the threshold you have set. (Purchases, Withdrawals, Balance Transfers) Please read: Manage your Financial Monitoring account

  • ID Analytics Alert - Application alerts. (Credit Cards, Loans, Cell Phones, Utility Companies) Please read: Request a fraud alert

  • ID Verification - These alerts will be received when verification methods such as security questions or one-time passcodes that only you should know are used to verify before completing a transaction. Please read: Respond to your ID verification alert 

  • Equifax/TransUnion Canada (including TELUS) – Credit Inquiries and Credit Alerts. Please read: Request a fraud alert

Types of Notifications

All notifications are US only except Dark Web Monitoring.
