Renew your expired Norton subscription

A valid subscription ensures your security is always up to date. You can renew your subscription from the product or from your account.

Renew from your product

  1. Open your Norton application.
  2. On the main window, click on Renew or Renew Now and follow the instructions for a secure checkout.

Renew from your account

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. In the My Subscriptions tab, next to the subscription that you want to renew, click Subscribe Now.
  3. Enter your card details and complete the payment.

What are my renewal options for Norton AntiVirus, Norton Internet Security, or Norton 360?

As a current customer of Norton AntiVirus, Norton Internet Security, or Norton 360, you can continue to renew your subscription at this time, receive protection updates, and support.

If you are currently in an automatically renewing subscription, the subscription renewal will be processed on our side until further notice.

During your subscription term, you may also have the option to upgrade to a different plan. Choose to either continue renewing your existing subscription for which you will continue to receive the latest security updates during your subscription, or upgrade to a new subscription plan with features that may better meet your needs.

We do recommend switching to our latest Norton 360 subscriptions as this allows the latest protection build.

I am unable to complete the purchase or did not receive a confirmation email for the renewal

If you are unable to complete the renewal or did not receive a confirmation email for your purchase, contact Member Services & Support for assistance.

I have already purchased a new product from a retail store or a third-party affiliated website

If you have already purchased a new product from a retail store or a third-party affiliated website, you must create a new account or add the purchased product to your existing account. For detailed instructions, read Download your Norton product purchased from a retail store. Please note that the days from your existing subscription will not be transferred to the new subscription as it is a new purchase.

I have renewed my Norton subscription, but the product still shows that it has expired

If your Norton product displays an incorrect number of days or says that it has expired, you may not have installed the correct product that you have purchased, or it is likely that the new subscription is in a different account. Sign in to the correct account and try installing the product again from your account. The days from my previous subscription are not transferred after renewal

If you have not purchased a renewal or an upgrade from the expiration notice, the days from your old subscription will not be added to the new subscription. When your Norton protection is due for renewal and if you purchase a new product from a retail store or online store, the days from your old subscription will not be added to the new subscription. Contact Member Services & Support for further assistance.

My subscription is registered to another email address and not the one I currently use

If your subscription is registered to an email address you do not use, contact Member Services & Support for assistance.

Can I upgrade to the latest Norton 360?

You may upgrade to the latest Norton 360 subscription plans.

If you are in an automatically renewing subscription, be sure to cancel the subscription renewal for your current Norton subscription before purchasing or upgrading to a new subscription.

You can reach out to our Member Services & Support team which can offer to upgrade for free or at a pro-rated price for the remaining term of your current subscription. This will allow you to benefit from the upgraded subscription right away and your newly upgraded subscription will automatically renew at the end of its subscription time.
