Set up your VPN product to use P2P file sharing

1. Launch Norton Secure VPN app on Windows.

2. On the Norton dashboard, under VPN region, click Auto-Select Region.

3. In the VPN region window, from the drop-down list, select Torrent-Optimized Region.

3. In the Change VPN Location window, from the drop-down list, click P2P-Optimized Region.

The P2P file sharing functionality is not supported in this version of the Norton app. It is available on our Norton 360 (version 24.x and above) app. To download and install the latest version of the Norton product, visit the My Norton page.

2. On the Norton dashboard, click Privacy on the left-side of the screen..

3. In the Privacy window, under Secure VPN, click Open.

4. In the Secure VPN window, under the Connection tab, click Change Location.

5. In the Change VPN Location window, from the drop-down list, click Optimized for P2P file transfers.

2. On the Norton dashboard, click the drop-down next to the country name.

3. In the Change VPN Location window, select Peer-to-peer (P2P).
