You have used all your available Norton Security installs

Norton Security lets you install on up to ten different devices. If you reach this limit, you cannot install on another device. You may need to remove an unused installation or purchase a different product to meet your needs.

Choose the number of devices (or operating systems) you need to protect to determine the best solution.

Ten or fewer devices to protect?

If you have installed your product on a device you are no longer using, you can transfer the license to a new device.

  1. Sign in to your account.

    If you have obtained your product from a service provider, use the partner login link and partner challenge code, or 4-digit partner unit ID you received in your welcome mail.

  2. On the top-right corner of the page, hover over the account icon or photo and click My Subscriptions.

  3. On the My Account page, on the My Subscriptions tab, select the product you want to manage.

  4. Under the product, click Manage Licenses.

  5. In the pop-up window, choose the device that you no longer use, and then under Remove License, click the bin icon.

  6. Click Remove to confirm.

  7. To install Norton on a new device, click Download.

  8. In the Get Started page, click Send Download Link. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the product on a different device.
