Allow and receive Norton device security notifications

After you install and launch Norton on macOS 10.15.x or later, you may see an alert to choose whether you want to receive notifications from Norton.

When you click Allow in the alert, you continue to receive Norton-specific alerts or notifications to inform you about the background tasks and other security-related alerts such as Automatic Scans, Automatic LiveUpdate, blocked attacks and malicious website, and other online threats.
