Submit a website to Norton Safe Web
Norton Safe Web analyzes and rates websites to see how they affect your device. When you see the grey icon next to the search results, it indicates that Norton Safe Web has not analyzed that website. If you are a site owner, you can submit your website for evaluation. If Norton Safe Web already evaluates your website and you want to dispute the site rating, submit the website for re-evaluation.

If you own a website, you can submit it to Norton Safe Web for evaluation. For more information, read the section I need to submit a website for evaluation or review.

A website is rated as unsafe if it contains threats. You can submit a re-evaluation request for your website if you believe that your website is rated incorrectly. For more information, read the section I need to submit a website for evaluation or review.
Depending on your operating system, select one of the following:
Windows
The steps are applicable for Norton 360 version 22.x or older. To know the version number of your Norton product, navigate to Help > About or Settings > About Menu.
File Submission

Go to Norton Submissions Portal and click File Submission under Norton 360 version 22.x or older section.

In the File Submission page, select one of the following:

Incorrectly Detected by Norton (False Positive)

Not Detected by Norton (False Negative)

In the page that appears, enter the required details and click Submit.

You can verify the website rating status change within 48 hours after the submission on Norton Safe Web website.
URL Submission

Go to Norton Submissions Portal and click URL Submission under Norton 360 version 22.x or older section.

Enter the URL/website for review and click Submit.

Enter your suggested website classification.

Add the description of your request.

Click Submit.
You can verify the website rating status change within 48 hours after the submission on Norton Safe Web website.
Follow the below steps if your Norton product version is 24.x or higher.
URL and File Submission

Go to Norton Submission Portal.

In the page that appears, do one of the following:

To submit a false positive request, under False Positive, click Open submit form.

To submit a false negative request, under False Negative, click Open submit form.

In the page that appears, enter the required details and click Submit.
Mac
The steps are applicable for Norton 360 version 8.x or older. To know the version number of your Norton product, navigate to Help > About or Settings > About Menu.
