Configure Auto Connect in your Norton VPN mobile app
The Auto Connect feature in Norton VPN app automatically enables the VPN connection if you do not connect to a secured Wi-Fi network. This provides you with additional security and helps you in preventing your personal information from being stolen by cybercriminals.
To use the Auto Connect feature in the Norton VPN app, depending on your product, choose one of the following:
Norton VPN

Launch Norton VPN on your mobile.

Tap the Settings icon on the top-right corner of the screen.

Depending on your operating system, choose one of the following.

For Android: In the VPN Preferences screen, tap Auto Connect.

For iOS: In the Privacy screen, tap Automatically Turn on VPN.

In the Auto Connect screen, move the slider to enable Auto Connect.

In the confirmation screen, click Allow.

Under Automatically connect to my VPN when I connect to: choose one of the following:

Unsecured Wi-Fi
-
Any Wi-Fi
-
Any Wi-Fi or cellular network

Norton 360
-
Launch Norton 360 on your mobile.

At the bottom of the main screen, tap Menu, and then tap VPN.

Depending on your product, choose one of the following:

For Android: In the VPN screen, tap the Settings icon on the top-right corner of the screen and then tap Auto Connect.

For iOS: In the VPN screen, move the slider to enable Auto-connect VPN.

In the Auto Connect screen, move the slider to enable Auto Connect.

In the confirmation screen, click Allow.

Under Automatically connect to my VPN when I connect to: choose one of the following:

Unsecured Wi-Fi
-
Any Wi-Fi
-
Any Wi-Fi or cellular network
Any Wi-Fi and Any Wi-Fi or cellular network options are available only for Android.
