Learn why an application detects your real location even when connected to Norton Secure VPN
Apps like Google Maps can find the location of the device based on your Wi-Fi router location or if the satellite location tracking is enabled on the device. However, all the other information that passes through the app is protected and encrypted.
Websites that you visit on your device's browser cannot identify your IP address and cannot determine your actual physical location.
Currently, our infrastructure supports only IPv4. However, we are working towards adding support for IPv6. In the mean time, we recommend that you disable IPv6 on your device. For more information, read: Disable Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) on your device.
