Fix problem accessing a specific website when connected to Norton VPN
When you search for a website on a search engine, do not click on the link that shows Ad in the beginning. These websites may host advertisements that are blocked by Ad tracker.
To fix this issue, connect your computer or your mobile device to a different VPN region.
Connect to a different VPN region
Depending on the operating system, choose one of the following to connect to a different VPN region:
Windows
Depending on your product, choose one of the following:
Norton Secure VPN (version 24.x and above)

Open Norton Secure VPN on your desktop.

On the Norton dashboard under the Connection tab, click Change Location next to Fastest Location.

In the VPN region window, choose a different geographic region from the drop-down list.
Norton 360 (version 22.x and below)
-
Open Norton 360.
In the My Norton window, click the drop-down arrow next to Secure VPN and click VPN region.

In the VPN region window, choose a different geographic region from the drop-down list.
Norton 360 (version 24.x and above)
-
Open Norton 360.

On the Norton dashboard, click Privacy on the left-side of the window.

In the Privacy window, under Secure VPN, click Open.

In the Secure VPN window, under the Connection tab, click Change Location.
-
In the Change VPN location window, choose a different geographic region from the drop-down list.
Norton VPN (version 24.x and above)

Open Norton VPN on your desktop.

On the Norton dashboard, choose a different geographic region from the drop-down list.
Mac
Depending on your product, choose one of the following:
Norton Secure VPN (version 24.x and above)

Open Norton Secure VPN on your desktop.

On the Norton dashboard, under the Connection tab, click Change Location next to Fastest Location.

Norton 360 (version 8.8.x and below)

Open Norton 360.
In the My Norton window, click the drop-down arrow next to Secure VPN and click VPN region.

Open Norton 360.

On the Norton dashboard, click Privacy on the left-side of the window.

In the Privacy window, under Secure VPN, click Open.

In the Secure VPN window, under the Connection tab, click Change Location.

Open Norton VPN on your desktop.

On the Norton dashboard, choose a different geographic region from the drop-down list.

Launch Norton 360.

Tap Privacy at the bottom of the screen.

On the Privacy screen, tap VPN.

On the Privacy screen, tap the drop-down list next to Fastest location.

On the Fastest location screen, choose a different geographic region from the drop-down list.
Norton VPN (version 4.x and above)

Launch Norton VPN.

On the Norton Secure VPN screen, tap the drop-down list next to Fastest location.

On the Fastest location screen, choose a different geographic region from the drop-down list.
iOS
Depending on your product, choose one of the following:
Norton 360 (version 2.x and above)

Launch Norton 360.

On the Norton 360 screen, tap the drop-down list next to Fastest location.

On the Change your location screen, choose a different geographic region from the drop-down list.
Norton VPN (version 4.x and above)

Launch Norton VPN.

On the Norton Secure VPN screen, tap the drop-down list next to Fastest location.

On the Change your location screen, choose a different geographic region from the drop-down list.
You may also try accessing the website using a different browser. If the issue persists, then you may have to temporarily disable Ad Tracker Blocking to visit the website.
Disable Ad Tracker Blocking
Depending on the operating system, choose one of the following:
Windows
Depending on your product, choose one of the following:
Norton Secure VPN (version 24.x and above)

Open Norton Secure VPN app on your desktop.

On the Norton home page, on the left pane, click Ad Tracker Blocking.

In the Ad Tracker Blocking screen, move the slider to disable Block ad trackers when VPN is on.
Norton 360 (version 22.x and below)

Open your Norton 360 app.
In the My Norton window, click the drop-down arrow next to Secure VPN, and click Ad Tracker Blocking.

Click the Ad Tracker Blocking tab and slide Block Ad Trackers to disable Ad Trackers.
Norton 360 (version 24.x and above)

Open your Norton device security product.

In the Norton dashboard, click Privacy on the left-side of the screen.

In the Privacy window, under Secure VPN, click Open.

In the Secure VPN window, click the Ad Tracking Blocking tab.

In the Ad Tracker Blocking tab move the slider to disable Block Ad Trackers when VPN is on.
Norton VPN (version 24.x and above)

Open your Norton VPN product.

On the Norton dashboard, click Settings on the left-side of the page.

On the Settings window, under VPN Preferences, move the slider to disable Block Ad Trackers when VPN is on.
Mac

Open Norton Secure VPN app on your desktop.

On the Norton dashboard, on the left pane, click Ad Tracker Blocking.

In the Ad Tracker Blocking screen, move the slider to disable Block ad trackers when VPN is on.

Tap the Menu icon on the top-left corner of the screen and click Settings.

In the Settings screen, tap Privacy and then tap Ad Tracker Blocking.

In the Ad Tracker Blocking screen, move the slider to disable Block Ad Trackers.

Launch Norton VPN.

Tap the Settings icon on the top-right corner of the screen.

In the VPN Configuration screen, tap Ad Tracker Blocking.

Launch Norton 360.

Tap the Privacy section and tap the right arrow next to VPN.

Under the Ad Tracker Blocking section, slide Block Ad Trackers to disable Ad Trackers.
