Overview of Norton Small Business user roles
Norton Small Business offers you multi-platform security product to protect your devices. Norton Small Business is for smaller end of the Small Business market and offers Norton Protection for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS along with Virus Removal Assurance.
Norton Small Business has two user roles:

Norton Small Business account owner
As an account owner of your Norton Small Business account, you are responsible for the product installation, subscription, device management, and account management such as renewing and transferring your subscription. You must send invites to your users to install the product on their devices.

Norton Small Business user
As a Norton Small Business user, the account owner sends you an email invitation to download and install your Norton product. You must accept the invitation to start the installation. You do not have to create an account to register or activate the product. You must contact your Norton Small Business account owner for instances where you need access to the account.
You can create a separate account to use Norton Password Manager or other Norton Online services. You can also use these services along with the Norton Small Business product on your device.
